With the creaminess of a stout and enduring after breath, this organic loose-leaf pu-erh is not easily forgotten. The spring 2014 harvest calls for the selection of more mature leaves than it's 2012 Gong Ting predecessor. These larger leaves with golden tips are indicative of the Te Ji (superior) grade and boast a classic earthy backdrop heightened by hints of spice and the sweetness of dark stonefruit.

Dry leaf: long brown twisted leaves with golden tips
Taste: viscous mouthfeel, earthy, hints of fruit
Process: pan-fired, rolled, post-fermented

1. Pre-heat a 150ml Yixing (clay) pot with boiling water
2. Add 8-10g of tea and rinse the leaves for up to 10 seconds
3. Brew using 90-100C water for 20-30 seconds
4. Can be infused >8 times
